In a language exchange you are matched with a native speaker learning your language, chat both ways, and correct each other. Drawn to explain the kind of app, not taken from any app's screens.

Speaking and feedback

Audio and video calls connect you with another learner. Finding someone is different from booking a teacher.

Before you choose

Choose a tutor if you want someone responsible for planning your lessons. An exchange asks you to help your partner too.

Grammar
Partners can correct messages. You need to agree on what help you want; there is no shared course to follow.

Course depth
There is no course endpoint. Partner fit and the language you can already use decide the conversation.
