Is Ouino worth it?

Yes, if you want grammar and verb conjugation explained and drilled, enjoy choosing what to learn next, and would rather pay once than subscribe.

What it costs. One language's course is $95.76 once, to keep, or a pass of 3 to 12 months is $38.97 to $83.88, paid once and not renewed; all 5 languages are $191.52 once.

What's free. A free demo in the browser: one sample lesson from each part of the course, such as definite articles, colours, a key verb and a conversation.

Skip it if you want speaking practice that answers back: Ouino has no speech recognition, AI chat or teacher, so you record yourself and judge your pronunciation against a native speaker by ear.

What learners rate it. 4.7 out of 5 from 28 ratings in Apple's US App Store, checked 16 Oct 2026. The figure is for OUINO Spanish: each language has its own app, marked “members only”, which needs a Ouino account.

$83.88 for 12 months $6.99 a month, paid once, doesn't renew; $95.76 once to keep one language's course

In our comparison: strongest on teaching depth and price, weakest on speaking practice.

How a Ouino lesson works

What you do
Choose a lesson from any of the five modules, a grammar point, a verb, a set of words, a sound or a conversation; watch its presentation with native audio and explanations in English, do its exercises from easy to hard, then give yourself one to four stars for how well you know it.
What comes back
Automatic: the exercises are scored, and you give each lesson your own rating for how well you know it. You record yourself and compare with a native speaker; nothing scores your pronunciation. No person checks your work.
Not included
A live teacher, feedback on your pronunciation or stated CEFR levels.

How a lesson works in a course app

In a course app you read or hear a short dialogue, fill in the missing word, and a grammar note explains why. Drawn to explain the kind of app, not taken from any app's screens.

Plans and prices

Every consumer plan on Ouino's own pricing page or app-store listing, in US dollars unless marked. Per month is the plan price divided by its term. Where the seller shows a crossed-out price beside the one it charges, the figure is the one it charges, and the plan's note gives the crossed-out price.
