How to cancel SuperChinese

Cancel SuperChinese where you paid, before the billing date. Bought in the iPhone app: cancel in your iPhone's settings. Bought in the Android app: cancel in Google Play. Paid on SuperChinese's website with Alipay, WeChat Pay or PayPal: write to SuperChinese and it cancels for you. Deleting the app does not cancel anything. You keep PLUS or CHAO until the end of the time you paid for.

From SuperChinese's own FAQ and terms, and Apple's and Google's for purchases made in their stores, read 16 Oct 2026. Where you bought it decides where you cancel.

Where did you subscribe?

In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (paid in the iPhone app)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top of the screen.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select SuperChinese, then tap Cancel Subscription.

SuperChinese says subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from, so you cancel with Apple, not in the app.

PLUS Lifetime, and deleting your account

PLUS Lifetime

PLUS Lifetime is a one-off purchase and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account does not stop the billing, so cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play first. Deletion is permanent: your study data, purchases and learning records go with it.
