How to cancel Mondly
Cancel Mondly where you bought it: in your Apple subscriptions, in Google Play, in your Huawei phone's subscriptions, or, if you paid on mondly.com, in your 2Checkout account under My Products. You can't cancel inside the Mondly app or on its website, and deleting the app does not cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Mondly's terms give no refund once the free trial is over, except a 14-day window for subscribers in the UK and EU who bought from Mondly directly.
Where did you subscribe?
In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (paid in the App Store)
- In Settings, tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Mondly.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, or an expiry message shows in red, the subscription is already cancelled.
Mondly sends App Store subscribers to Apple's own instructions; these are Apple's steps.
In Google Play (paid on Android)
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Mondly.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
In your 2Checkout account (paid on mondly.com)
- Go to 2Checkout's My Account sign-in page.
- Enter your email address or your order number.
- Open the sign-in link 2Checkout emails you (check your spam folder too) and click Continue.
- Go to the My Products tab.
- Stop the automatic renewal under the subscription's status.
2Checkout, also called Verifone, takes Mondly's website payments; it answers questions at [email protected].
On a Huawei phone (paid in AppGallery)
- Go to Settings, then Account center, then Payment and purchases, then Subscriptions.
- Touch Mondly and cancel the subscription.
Mondly sends AppGallery subscribers to Huawei's own guide; these are Huawei's steps. Mondly's page also finds the subscription in AppGallery, under Me, then Subscriptions.
Not sure where you paid?
Check your receipts and your phone
A receipt from Apple or iTunes means the App Store; from Google Play, Android; from AppGallery or Huawei, a Huawei phone; from [email protected], or one that says “Your order on https://www.mondly.com: Payment received”, the website. If Mondly is in none of your phone's subscription lists, Mondly says you most likely bought it on its website.
Still unsure
Email [email protected] with the email address you subscribed with and your order number. Mondly cannot find a subscription from card details, a billing address or a name alone: it needs the order number.
After you cancel
- You keep Premium until the end of your current billing period.
- Deleting the Mondly app does not cancel the subscription, and you can't cancel inside the app or on Mondly's website: cancel where you bought it, before your next billing date.
Getting money back
- Mondly's subscription terms make a payment non-refundable once the free trial is over, and give no refund or credit for a part-used subscription.
- Subscribers in the UK and EU who bought from Mondly directly can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of the subscription starting, of a free or discounted trial ending, or of each renewal.
- Mondly's customer support takes refund requests. Paid in the App Store or Google Play: a refund is Apple's or Google's to decide.
Questions people ask

No. Mondly says subscriptions must be cancelled where you bought them: in your Apple or Google Play subscriptions, on your Huawei phone, or, for a purchase on mondly.com, in your 2Checkout account.
Does deleting Mondly cancel my subscription?
No. The subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it where you bought it, before your next billing date.
Can I get a refund from Mondly?
Rarely. Its terms make payments non-refundable once the free trial is over, apart from a 14-day window for subscribers in the UK and EU who bought from Mondly directly. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded, if at all, by Apple or Google.
