How to cancel Drops
Cancel Drops where you paid: in your iPhone's Settings, under your name and Subscriptions; in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions; or, if you bought on a Drops web page, from the “Manage Subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email. Cancelling stops renewals but refunds nothing. Apple and Google handle refunds for their stores and Paddle for the web, and Drops says a refund must be asked for within 14 days of the purchase.
Where did you subscribe?
In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (paid in the App Store)
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Drops.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You paid through Apple if you confirmed with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password and the receipt came from Apple. Drops not in the list? Check which Apple ID is signed in, or search your email for “APPLE RECEIPT” and “Drops”.
In Google Play (paid on Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Drops.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
A Google Play receipt has an order ID starting with GPA. Drops not in the list? Switch between your Google accounts and check each one's subscriptions.
Through Paddle (bought on a Drops web page)
- Open your Paddle receipt email.
- Click the “Manage Subscription” or cancellation link.
- Follow the steps there; Paddle's own help can find the subscription and cancel it.
You bought through Paddle if you paid on a Drops offer page in a browser, the confirmation came from Paddle.com or [email protected], or your bank statement shows “PADDLE*DROPS”. No email? Search your inboxes for “Paddle.com” or “Your Drops order”.
If you are on the free trial
Cancel before the 7 days end
Drops' free trial turns into a yearly Premium subscription when its 7 days end. Cancel before then and you are not charged, and you keep Premium for the rest of the trial.
After you cancel
- Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund what you have already paid.
- Can't find where the subscription lives? Drops' support team helps if you send your login email and any receipts or order IDs.
Getting money back
- Paid in the App Store or Google Play: ask Apple or Google. Drops says it cannot refund, cancel or manage purchases made through Apple.
- Paid on the web: Paddle sells Drops online and handles its refunds; reply to the email Paddle sent you.
- Drops says a refund must be requested within 14 days of the original purchase; later requests can't be processed.
