How to cancel Yabla
To cancel Yabla on its website, click your username in the top right, choose Subscriptions & Payment, then Cancel and Turn off Recurring Billing, and Stop Recurring Billing on the next page; your account stays active until its end date. A free trial has its own Cancel Trial Account button. Subscribed in the iPhone app? Cancel in your iPhone's settings. Cancelling in the first days can bring a full refund: within 7 days by Yabla's terms, 14 days by its FAQ.
Where did you subscribe?
On the Yabla website (subscribed on yabla.com)
- Log in and click your username in the top right corner.
- Select Subscriptions & Payment from the menu.
- Select Cancel and Turn off Recurring Billing to the right of the subscription.
- Select Stop Recurring Billing on the next page.
Your account stays active until its end date. Each language's site (Spanish, French, German and so on) has the same menu.
In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (subscribed in a Yabla iOS app)
- In Settings, tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the Yabla app you subscribed in.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, or an expiry message shows in red, the subscription is already cancelled.
Yabla's FAQ says a subscription bought in its iOS app is managed through the App Store; these are Apple's steps. Yabla has no Android app.
The free trial and cancelling with a refund
During the free trial
Log in, open Subscriptions & Payment from the menu under your username, and select Cancel Trial Account next to the subscription. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged.
Cancelling with a refund
In Subscriptions & Payment, select Cancel (not Turn off Recurring Billing) next to the subscription. Yabla then refunds you and ends your access at once, if you are inside its window and did not start the subscription with a free trial.
After you cancel
- Turning off recurring billing stops all further charges; your account stays active and the subscription lapses at its end date.
- To come back, use the Subscribe tab at the top of the site with your old username and password.
Getting money back
- Yabla's terms give a full refund if you cancel within the first 7 days of a subscription, once a year. Its FAQ says 14 days from your first purchase, as long as you did not start with a free trial. The two pages disagree, so cancel within 7 days to be safe.
- After that window there is no refund: you keep access to the end of the subscription and are not charged again.
- Bought in a Yabla iOS app: Apple decides, not Yabla.
