How to cancel Rocket Languages

Rocket Languages sells courses you pay for once and keep, so there is no subscription to cancel. To get your money back, email [email protected] with your receipt number within 60 days of paying: Rocket promises a full refund on any purchase, with no questions asked. On a 6-month payment plan the 60 days run from the first payment; after that there is no refund, but support can stop the payments still to come. Bought in the iPhone app, Apple decides the refund.

From Rocket Languages' own help pages, and Apple's and Google's for purchases made in their stores, read 15 Oct 2026. Where you bought it decides where you cancel.

What did you buy?

A course or level paid in one payment on Rocket's website

  1. There is nothing to cancel: the course is yours to keep.
  2. To send it back within 60 days of paying, email [email protected] and ask for a refund, with the receipt number from the email you got when you ordered.

Rocket processes the refund within 2 working days and emails you when it is done, to the payment method you used; it can take up to 5 working days to show on your statement.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 on the 6-month payment plan

  1. Within 60 days of the first payment: email [email protected] for a refund, which covers every payment made so far.
  2. After 60 days: email [email protected] to cancel the plan, which stops the payments still to come.

Rocket's own pages differ on timing: the pricing page says you can cancel the plan at any time, while its help page says future payments can be cancelled only once the 60 days have passed. After the 60 days, payments already made are not refunded, because the plan opens the whole course from the first payment.

In the iPhone or iPad app (paid in the App Store)

  1. Ask Apple: Rocket says Apple decides refunds of purchases made in its iOS app, and they typically follow a 14-day refund policy.

Unsubscribing from Rocket's emails

The unsubscribe link at the bottom of Rocket's emails stops the emails only; it doesn't change your access to your course.

Deleting your account

Sign in, click your profile picture at the top right and choose Profile, scroll down to Danger zone, click Delete, type your password and click DELETE to confirm; the same steps work in the app. Deleting your account doesn't refund anything you bought, so ask for a refund first.
