How to cancel Readle

Cancel Readle where you paid: bought in the iPhone or iPad app, in your iPhone's Settings, under your name and Subscriptions; on Android, in the Play Store, under your profile and Payments and subscriptions; bought on Readle's website, sign in with the email you paid with and cancel in the app's settings. Deleting the app does not cancel. A web subscription can be refunded in full within 14 days of the first payment, by email to [email protected]; App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple or Google.

Where did you subscribe?

In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (bought in the iPhone or iPad app)

In Settings, tap your name.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Readle.
Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, or an expiry message shows in red, the subscription is already cancelled.

In Google Play (bought in the Android app)

Open the Play Store app and tap your profile at the top right.
Go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Select Readle and tap Cancel subscription.

The first two steps are Readle's, the rest Google's. Uninstalling the app does not cancel.

Bought on Readle's website

Sign in with the email address you used to buy.
Open the settings in the app and manage your subscription there.

If that doesn't work, Readle asks you to write to [email protected].

The free week

Cancelling during the free week

Readle offers the whole app free for a week and says you can cancel anytime. If you don't want to pay once the week is over, cancel where you signed up, as above, before it ends.

After you cancel

A subscription carries on until you cancel it; after each period it renews for the same length, at the price you agreed to.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Getting money back

Bought on Readle's website: a full refund if you write to [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment, or at any time if technical problems stop you using the app. Readle reviews the request and emails you the outcome; an approved refund goes back to the way you paid within 3 to 5 business days.
Bought in the App Store or Google Play: Readle sends you to Apple or Google for any refund.
Readle's terms of use, last updated 1 February 2023, still say all fees are final and nonrefundable; its refund policy is the page that gives the 14 days.
