How to cancel Praktika
Cancel Praktika where you paid: for a card payment on the web, in Stripe's subscriptions page, signed in with the email you paid with; in the App Store app, under your profile picture and Subscriptions; or in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions. Deleting your Praktika account does not cancel it. Praktika says it refunds a charge if you ask within 48 hours of it.
Where did you subscribe?
Paid by card on the web (through Stripe)
- Open the Subscriptions Dashboard linked from Praktika's help article; it is Stripe's billing page.
- Sign in with the email you used for the purchase.
- Click your Praktika subscription to open its details.
- Choose Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
The same page lets you change your plan or your payment details instead.
In the App Store (paid on an iPhone or iPad)
- Open the App Store app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find Praktika in the list and cancel it.
On the free trial, cancel more than 24 hours before it ends, or Apple will still charge you; if that happens, ask Apple for the refund.
In Google Play (paid on Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find Praktika and cancel it.
Sign in with the account you paid with. Praktika not in the list? Look under All subscriptions.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account does not cancel
Deleting your Praktika account leaves the subscription running. Cancel it first, where you paid.
After you cancel
- You keep Praktika until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Cancelling does not refund the fees for that period.
Getting money back
- Praktika's help centre says it refunds a charge if you ask within 48 hours of it, and that partial refunds may be available in some cases.
- Its terms say paid fees are otherwise non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund, and that other requests are decided case by case.
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: Praktika does not control that billing, so ask Apple or Google.
