How to cancel Pingo AI

Cancel where you paid. Bought in the iPhone app: in your iPhone's settings, under your name and Subscriptions. Bought in the Android app: in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions. Bought on pingo.ai: with the payment provider that took the payment, such as Stripe. Pingo's terms say any change to billing or cancellation has to be made with the store or payment provider, even when the app's Account Settings show your subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, or it renews.

Where did you subscribe?

In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (paid in the Pingo AI app)

In Settings, tap your name.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Pingo AI, then Cancel Subscription.

Pingo sells Pingo Pro in its iPhone app through Apple; these are Apple's steps.

Bought on pingo.ai

Open the Pingo AI app and go to Account Settings, where Pingo may show your subscription and how to cancel it.
Cancel with the payment provider that took the payment (Pingo's terms name Stripe for its website), or email [email protected] if you can't find it.

Pingo's terms say purchases on its website go through a payment provider such as Stripe, and that cancelling is done with that provider; they give no steps of their own.

The free trial, and deleting your account

Your free trial is ending

Pingo offers a free trial before you subscribe but doesn't say how long it lasts. If the trial was started through the App Store or Google Play as a subscription, cancel it there before it ends, in the same place as a paid subscription.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings, choose Delete Account and follow the instructions. Pingo's terms say cancelling has to be done with the store or payment provider, so cancel the subscription there first.

After you cancel

Apple and Google keep a cancelled subscription running until the end of the period you paid for.
Pingo has no free plan to fall back on: after that, full conversation practice needs a subscription again.
