How to cancel Novakid

You cancel Novakid in your Parent's account: open your subscription and cancel the automatic renewal, at least one business day before the renewal date, or the plan renews. Novakid's US price list promises money back within 14 days on a 3-month plan, 28 days on 6 months and 48 days on 12 months; its terms give 14 days to withdraw from a first plan if no lesson has been taken. Refunds are handled by hand, so ask Novakid's support in the website chat or the contact form in your Parent's account.

Cancelling in your account

In your Parent's account

Log in to your Parent's account.
Click your current subscription to open the Subscription window.
Cancel the automatic renewal there.

Do it at least one business day before the renewal date, which is on the main page of your Parent's account; otherwise the plan renews and you are charged again.

A single lesson, instalments and a pause

Cancelling one lesson, not the plan

Cancel or move a one-to-one lesson up to 8 hours before it starts. Later than that, or a lesson missed, counts as a lesson taken; group lessons can't be cancelled or moved by you.

A 12-month plan paid in instalments

Paying monthly, you still agree to pay the whole plan's price, even if your child stops before the end. After a missed payment Novakid can suspend the lessons, and what you owe stays owed.

A pause instead

A 6-month plan can be paused for up to 3 weeks and a 12-month plan for up to 8 weeks; the price list names no pause for a 3-month plan.

After you cancel

On a 6- or 12-month plan, lessons you haven't used stay in your balance for 30 days after the plan ends, and move to your next plan if you renew within those 30 days; after that they are lost.
On a 1- or 3-month plan, half of the unused lessons become bonuses, a discount on a later plan of individual lessons.

Getting money back

Novakid's US price list: a money-back guarantee of 14 days on a 3-month plan, 28 days on a 6-month plan and 48 days on a 12-month plan.
Novakid's terms: 14 days to withdraw from a first plan if no lesson has been taken from it; once lessons have been taken, a refund is worked out from the lessons taken and any discount applied. After those 14 days the terms say a plan can't be ended before its term, unless the law requires it.
