How to cancel MosaLingua
Cancel MosaLingua where you paid: on the website, click your username at the top right, then My Account, then Cancel, and confirm; bought in the app, cancel in your iPhone's subscriptions or in Google Play. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Bought on the website or on Android, you can ask for a refund within 30 days of a payment, yearly renewals included; MosaLingua can't refund App Store purchases, so ask Apple.
Where did you subscribe?
On MosaLingua's website (paid by card)
- Log in and click your username in the top right corner. If you don't see it, click the lines in the top right corner: your username is at the bottom of the menu.
- Click My Account.
- Click Cancel, then confirm.
You can also cancel the renewal by writing to MosaLingua's support team at [email protected]. There is no deadline, but if you cancel on the day a payment is due, it may still go through if it has already started.
In PayPal (paid on the website with PayPal)
- Log in to PayPal on its website and go to Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Select Subscriptions and saved businesses, or Automatic Payments.
- Select MosaLingua, then cancel the automatic payment.
MosaLingua's help page sends PayPal subscribers to PayPal's own instructions; these are PayPal's steps.
In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (paid in the App Store)
- In Settings, tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap MosaLingua.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, or an expiry message shows in red, the subscription is already cancelled.
MosaLingua sends App Store subscribers to Apple's instructions; these are Apple's steps.
In Google Play (paid on Android)
- On your Android phone or tablet, go to your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select MosaLingua.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the instructions.
MosaLingua sends Android subscribers to Google Play's instructions; these are Google's steps, and uninstalling the app does not cancel.
The free trial and deleting your account
The 7-day free trial on the website
MosaLingua Premium bought on the website starts with 7 days free, and you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel it in My Account with the Cancel button before the last day, or it turns into a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up.
Deleting the app or your account
Deleting the app is enough only if you never subscribed. To delete your account, email MosaLingua from the address the account is registered with; it is irreversible and removes your progress and history. MosaLingua's pages don't say whether deleting the account stops a subscription, so cancel first.
After you cancel
- Cancelling doesn't touch the time you have already paid for: Premium stays on until the end of the billing period. To subscribe again on the website, wait until that access has ended.
- MosaLingua's free app has about 400 flashcards and lets you add none; Premium has about 3,000 and lets you add your own.
Getting money back
- Bought on MosaLingua's website or in the Android app: ask for a refund within 30 days of a payment, for any reason; this applies to each yearly renewal too. Use the refund request form on MosaLingua's refund page, or email [email protected]. Its terms say the refund is the amount you paid, less any bank fees.
- Bought in the App Store: MosaLingua can't refund it, because Apple manages app sales; ask Apple.
- Instead of a refund, MosaLingua may offer you a trial of a different course.
