How to cancel Lingvano

Bought on Lingvano's website, cancel from the cancel link on its help page, by a support ticket, or at paddle.net, since Paddle takes Lingvano's web payments. Bought in the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your phone's subscription settings. You keep Premium until the end of the month, 3 months or year you paid for. A website purchase can be refunded only within 14 days of your last renewal; App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, Google Play ones through Google.

Open Lingvano's help article “How can I cancel my subscription?”.
Where it says “If you really want to cancel your membership”, click “click here”.

Go to paddle.net.
Choose Cancel subscription.
Follow Paddle's steps to find your Lingvano purchase.

In your iPhone's or iPad's settings (bought in the iPhone app)

In Settings, tap your name.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Lingvano.
Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, or an expiry message shows in red, the subscription is already cancelled.

Lingvano's terms say a subscription bought in the app is cancelled in the app's Manage Subscription or with the app store; these are Apple's steps. Can't find it? Lingvano suggests checking any other Apple account you use.

On your Android phone or tablet, go to your subscriptions in Google Play.
Select Lingvano.
Tap Cancel subscription.

The free trial, and deleting your account

During the 7-day free trial

A trial with any plan ends 7 days after you start it, and the paid plan begins the next day. Cancel before then, where you started the trial, and you are not charged. With notifications on, the app reminds you two days before the trial ends.

Deleting your account

Lingvano lets you delete your account only after you have cancelled a paid subscription: then use Delete account in your account details. Your progress, username and email are erased at once and can't be recovered.

After you cancel

Your plan stops renewing, and you keep Premium until the end of what you paid for: a month, 3 months or a year after your last renewal.
Lingvano's terms ask you to cancel at least 48 hours before the term ends, and its App Store listing at least 24 hours before, so cancel a few days early.

Getting money back

Bought on Lingvano's website: send Lingvano a support ticket. Refunds are possible only within 14 days of your last renewal date.
Bought in the App Store: Lingvano can't refund it; ask Apple. Bought in Google Play: ask through Google Play's refund request. Either way, Lingvano says a subscription that began with the 7-day trial is not eligible for a refund.
